Details
Designed for the Texan climate, this open-air stable features three stalls, a groom/wash bay, spacious tack room, hay storage, machine storage and an office space. Exterior access garage doors are placed at both hay and machine storage rooms. An office space, connected by roof only, showcases views of the property through large windows. Vertical venting is planned throughout the stable, moving air consistently in the warm weather.
The stable will be located on a small property, and as such, it was important to be conservative in our use of space, prioritizing turnout and an outdoor arena. A courtyard between the existing residence and future stable connects the two structures, extending the usable space. This can serve as a flex space, offering outdoor living area or additional hitching space for visiting riders.
